help...2nd UPDATE 2.19.15
2nd update: well...after seeing the sac on Wednesday I proceeded to bleed and still am. Ultrasound showed sac is no longer there today. 2nd miscarriage....now officially have "reoccurring miscarriage" as another challenge in this journey. I don't know what to feel or think other than this blows. Completely.
UPDATE: Just saw baby's sac on the sono at 5 weeks, which none of us were expecting I don't think!!! Doc says blood and cramping is normal. Waiting on beta later. He says I am pregnant and to relax and it is up to God now. Gotta keep the faith!!!! _________________________
I am 5 weeks today and have strong pelvic cramping and just passed a red blood clot.
I had an FET done (two embryos) and have totally felt pregnant and was beginning to believe this could stick. I even felt nauseous earlier.
Normal or not normal?
You can hit me with the truth because I had a chem. pregnancy 1 day shy of 5 weeks last year and it feels like f***** groundhogs day here tonight.
I am gutted yet trying to keep it together. Can it be that one embryo is leaving while the other holds on?
I know cramps plus blood is no good.

i know nothing about this at all, but it seems like maybe it oculd one embryo like you said. i know google makes us all crazy, but maybe for this it will give you some insight?

First off I'm sorry bc cramping and bleeding is scary when pregnant! The thing is it could be bad but it could be ok and maybe one of the embryos. When do you go back to the re? How have your beta numbers been??

I had two betas two days apart and the numbers tripled. I am scheduled for sono next Monday. I am going to call in morning and get another beta done...I can't imagine a scenario in which this turns out well sadly.

The cramping is normal. I had bad cramps and spotting in the beginning of my pregnancy and everything turned out okay. The clot could be a subchorionic hematoma. Call your RE and see if they can get you in for blood work and an earlier sono. Try and keep positive, I know it's hard after what you have been through. Prayers!!

It could just be a sub choronic hematoma aka a blood clot. I had the same thing with cramping and a bleed and that's what it was diagnosed as. It happens more often with women with IVF. Call your doctor maybe they can do a Sono tomorrow.
By the way I had it at 5 weeks too

Yes I forgot about the sub chronic hematoma! I knew there was another reason that you could've passed a clot!! If your betas were good and tripled I def don't think it would be a chemical pregnancy bc usually those have low betas that never get close to doubling! Def call tomorrow! I would definitely call the dr in the morning. Ironically my mc was the only time I didn't bleed when pregnant. I had bleeding both with DS and this pregnancy so it is definitely possible that everything is okay. Hope you are able to get answers soon!

Wow really? U think I have a chance? My betas were 178 and 2 days later 519. I am going to look up the sch.
As it was with cramping, which I still have doesn't that make it worse or is that normal with a sch?

I've had a sch twice, once with my first pregnancy and had no cramping with the bleeds I would get from them and again this time. This time each time I had a bleed from the sch it was accompanied with cramping. Try to stay calm, put your feet up and see what you dr says. I had the first one just like you around 5 weeks and we couldn't see too much so we did bloods for another two times and then a sono at 6 weeks. Good luck!

I had this with this pregnancy.
I kept feeling like there was no way this baby was going to take.
I had a LOT of cramping.
And... here I am... at 12 weeks. Still pregnant. I laugh that the baby will be born with fangs.
DO call your Dr, I did have to get the rhogam shot because of the cramping/bleeding (I'm neg, hubby is pos).
