helping friend rescue a dog

A co-worker of mine had a maltese that she rescued and it died recently Chat Icon She lives alone and so badly wants another dog but she's having a lot of trouble finding one to rescue. She needs something hypoallergenic because she's highly allergic, if you know of or hear of any dogs that need homes and fit the criteria, please FM me! Thanks Chat Icon

thank you! We've been on petfinder, she has a few stipulations so none of the dogs on there fit her criteria? Any other websites?

There are many purebreds at Animal Care and Control of NYC. You have to go in person..if she lives in NYC she can go to either Brooklyn shelter at 2336 Linden Blvd. or 110th Street in Manhattan...must go in person..no calls from public.

If she goes, IM when she is going and I will give them heads up,

Try some of the rescue sites. Havenese are good. They are hypoalergenic I think.
