Heres list of nursery schools...does anyone know anything about them good/bad?? thanks
they are mostly in wantagh,bellmore,merrick area.
wee friends in wantagh
pixie nursery in wantgh
christian nursery school in wantagh (island ave)
south shore in bellmore
alphabetland in merrick

DS went South Shore in bellmore and we were very happy with them. DS loved it there. We still use them for summer camp.
Many of my neighbors have send their DC to Pixi School and have spoken highly of it.

Don't know much about these schools just yet, but Pixie, Wee Friends and Christ Lutheran are all on my list to check out when it comes time for DD to go to nursery.
I've heard good things about Pixie and Wee Friends.
Good Luck - I'm curious to see what other people say about these places!

I did a post awhile back, I believe some of these schools were mentioned if you want to do a search.
I found the best thing I did was go to the schools themselves. I knew within minutes if they were right for us or not. Everyone has much different experiences at different schools.

My son went to last summer and will go again this summer to camp at Wee Friends in Wantagh. I like it. I considered it for preschool but went with United Methodist in Bellmore instead. Closer to home and got a lot of recommendations. I have been happy with our decision as is my son.
