That was a huge suprise. I feel like the haitian work for claires father but he really works for someone even higher up then claires father and that is a story line that has not been revealed yet! I am so excited, I love this show.

HE CAN TALK!!!! I couldn't believe it!
DH and I watched it on DVR to skip the commercials (thanks to whoever said they do that a week or so ago - GREAT idea!!) so we missed the part that said Jan 22 because it cut off. I was frantically searching for previews too. I don't want to wait that long.

Yup...January 22nd!! Are they KIDDING me with that?
Haitian boy erases memory and blocks powers. He told Claire he was going to erase her memory...or not. Then he asked her if she can keep a secret. I think he's going make her PRETEND she can't remember her powers. He definately works for a higher power than Claire's dad.
So cool how Eden shot herself so Sylar couldn't take her brain. That would have been a very dangerous power to have in Sylar's hands!!
Love Hiro!!! Just had to say that!
Peter Petrelli...did he die? How is he going to blow up New York? In that dream sequence where all the hereos are united, why did Claire mouth the words, "I'm sorry" to Peter?
I sooooooooooooo love this show. I cannot wait 6 weeks to see it again!!

Ahhh but see, we don't know who was shot - you never see it happen. So you don't know if it's Sylar or Eden.
They said ONE hero died. So is it Sylar, Eden, Peter?
I think Peter's alive but in a coma or something. He had his vision of the future (which I'm not sure I believe - because why would Claire be in her cheerleader uniform again?) when he passed out.
But if it's a future vision... then he can't be dead. Because he's in the vision.
And what's with his brother? He looked like he was walking with purpose, and didn't have a sympathetic look on his face.
And the freakin dinosaur? What is up with THAT? Does Peter turn into a dinosaur? 
I love Hiro more and more with every episode. "How do you stop man from exploding?"

I'm assuming they need a super bad-guy in the show, so Sylar is probably alive. I'm wondering if Peter got close to that other guy who could create nuclear explosions, and Peter isn't able to control that power. Like all powers (for him or anyone else), they can't control it when they first get it.
I'm wondering if Hiro jumped too far into the past, and met the dino. He jumped too far back to save the waitress. Sylar might have something to do with that as well.
Obviously just guesses on my part, but that's all I can do for almost 2 months now...

What brand/service of DVR do you have? Mine is with DishNetwork, but it's one of the older models (grandfathered in, before they started charging per month! :) )
On mine, you can program the show like usual, then go into the Edit mode, and manually change the end-time. My wife does that for Desperate Housewives all the time. Heroes records OK for us.

GREAT episode last night....especially the last 15 min!
DH and I almost jumped out of our seats when Peter dreamed in jail that he was talking to his brother and he all of a sudden turned into Sylar, we thought it was real at first.
I was so sad that Zachs whole friendship with Claire was erased. She looked so sad that one of the only people who understood her was gone.

It is definitely Eden. Sylar indicated that he was looking forward to gaining her power, when she pulled up the gun he said something like "you know that won't hurt me" and then she turned the gun on herself. She blew out her brains so that he could not gain her power. There is also an online comic at the nbc website that confirms it was Eden who died.
I thought this episode was great. I like the scene with Peter, Matt and Audrey. They all seemed so confused!
I also can't wait to see what happens with Clair and the Haitian. It's great that he is not going to clear her memory.
My only question is, why did Sylar's power work with Eden, but not when Mr. Bennet was in the room. Mr. Bennet said something along the lines of "your powers won't work here".
The dream sequence also confused me a little bit with Clair saying "I'm sorry." Also, Hiro and Ando was looking so ashamed. Nathan had a very weird look on his face as well, and while everyone was walking away from Peter, nathan was walking to him.

I also liked the fact that when Mohinder was back in NY and was putting the post-its on the map he saw Isaac's name. Now he knows that Peter wasn't lying to him before!

Did anyone catch the chemistry between Claire and Peter? I know there's a lot of years between them and she's only in high school. But I felt so much better for both of them, that they were missing that in their lives, and found it with each other.
Claire's father was talking to someone who wanted to keep Sylar alive... Wonder who that could be? Wouldn't it be funny if it was Haitian guy he was talking to. They all assume he can't talk, even Eden.

My 2 cents:
I don't think the Haitian guy blocks powers and erases memory. I think his power is just to erase memory and it is Claire's dad that can block power. The cop (I can never remember his name) couldn't get any reading when it was just Clarie and her dad. And if he couldn't block Sylar's power, why wouldn't Sylar have just killed him? The Haitian and Claire's dad were always together when the memory erase and blocked power occurred. However, why weren't they able to stop Nathan from flying away the time they had him in Vegas?
I wondered why if Sylar was able to bust through and get to Eden why he didn't do that earlier, unless he was only exposed to Claire's dad before that.
I think that maybe the Haitian is playing both sides and it will be interesting to see where it leads.
I also think the painting was of Hiro going back to the past, overshooting it and ending up with the dinosaur.

I really want to know who Mr. Bennett works for - what is his deal?
And why would Hiro be fighting a dinosaur - it would have to be way in the future - after he gets the sword he had when we saw future Hiro on the subway talking to Peter.
I also felt so bad for Claire when everyone she knew had their memory erased.
Also in Peter's dream, he saw people he had never met before - like Nikki, D.L, and Michah.
I still don't understand the Nikki/Jessica thing - how is that a superpower? And why does Jessica hate D.L. so much? She says its to get Michah back, but yesterday she hurt Michah so Jessica must not love him like she says she does.
Great Episode, I can't believe we have to wait more than a month until the next one!!

That connection really came through. It was great.
I think Eden died too, and I think Sylar took her power. I think he is going to keep getting more powerful for a while. His storyline probably still has a long way to go.
