I was in the same boat when I was looking for my first full time teaching job. It is so nerve-wracking as the calendar counts down... every morning I was sick to my stomach over the stress.
I feel for Rich
The good news is BOTH times I was hired at the end of August... first private school... thank God because the loans were due in a month and then public school (where I am now). There is still hope
Now I remember my public school interview... my principal teased me later saying I deserved an Academy Award for my presentation I was so desperate I looked him straight in the eye and said to the superintendant... "I can guarantee you, that if I get the job, you will never, for one moment, ever, during your tenure as superintendent of this district, regret hiring me" Fifteen minutes later they called me and told me I had the job.
It is going to happen.
and many to Rich. It is so stressful.

ok, he's home now - he said that he feels he did well, but doesn't want to get his hopes up. He was in there for almost an hour!
He also learned that its not a full time position - just a leave replacement through June 30th. STILL better than nothing!
He'll know either way by the end of the week.
We both thank you VERY MUCHLY
