Hey everyone I'm back!! (with pictures of course!!)
We had a nice weekend up in the Catskill mountains. It was beautiful up there!
BUT....of course something always has to happen. Our friend who came with us fell in the lake while he was in his canoe. He is a strong swimmer but couldn't swim well with his clothing on. He almost drown in the lake. My dh was in another boat and went out and saved him. He is in the hospital right now because since he swallowed all that water, he has been vomiting. He might have a parasite from the lake water.
Other than that happening...we had a nice time.

The second day, we emptied the garbage that was filled with water and found a chipmunk. My girlfriend is a vet tech and we brought him in and nursed him back to life only to release him in the woods brand new!! I cried I was so happy...

I wish I could go up there next week.
Update on my friend:
He is still in the hospital. They found out that he now has a problem with his kidneys. They're operating at 70%.
We're waiting for our friend to update us with more info.
