Hey Luuuuuucy, I'm home!!!!
Did y'all miss me? I am back from a few days out east!!! We had a ball. I have so many little stories to tell from our trip. Dylan goes to sleep pretty late, so we would go out to dinner and I would put him in his stroller and put his baseball cap on him. Everyone commented on how cute the "sleeping baby" was. He was really wide awake and was staring everyone down!
The first night we were there, he woke up during the night and it looked like he was wondering where he was. He sat up and cried but he was so tired that he went right back to sleep while still sitting. Then he just fell over!!! He slept the rest of the night in the exact position he landed in.
He loved the swimming pool. He liked the beach but he did not like when the sand stuck to his hands. His hands were damp from always being in his mouth, so the sand stuck to them.
I learned that the trick to keeping a baby happy on vacation or in a hotel room is to always have another toy that you have not yet given them during the trip. If he got bored anywhere, we had a new toy on hand and that worked every time. These were toys he has played with at home before, though.
Oh, I lost my wallet for the first time in my life and a good samaritan contacted me because her g-d son found it. I even got my cash back.
We came home Thurs. and we were supposed to go to Fire Island for the final night of our trip. But the weather, my fatigue, the stress about my wallet and some other things kept us home on LI. So, today we took Dylan for his first haircut. He was probably getting his done just as Sophie's EJ was!!!!

Wow.. we are following each other's tracks.
We are going out East for a few days next week also.
That totally calls for a playdate when we come back.
