Hey we should do a LIWfamily GTG....
Einsenhower park used to allow bbq's and parties on the grounds on the weekends. I dont know if they still do that. If so we should seriously do a huge summer party. we could all bring something- beer, dogs, buns, .
We should bring the DH, FH, DW,FW, kids. Make it a big shindig.

ambersmoma and I were going to do something but things kinda got busy for both of us. at least that was on LIW. Im down for a gtg as long as my plans allow. so far everytime things come up.

I just contacted ron and liz to see if they want to host it but we would all contribute to it bringing the goods, and I said vendors can come too if they want to promote and even a dj since brides would be coming too, if they want to promote themselves and play for us. I think this would get this board going too!!! what do you guys think?

I think Eisenhower park is a great idea. We could all bring a dish and do a pot luck or something. That would be a lot of fun!

that was suggested but everyone had an opinion cause not everyone has kids. do you make it family related. with kids without kids. or just a mass get together? things to think about

So I got through...Apparently they have a few pinic areas. One is a reserved area, one is non reserved (field # 3) Field #3 is first come, first served but FREE. So someone would have to be there early to hold spots. To register/reserve a spot, it would be like $100.00 and then another $35.00 if we wanted to have alcohol. A Nassau resident (that shoots me down) with a valid leisure pass would have to reserve the area if we wanted a guaranteed spot.
Suggestions guys??
