im so sorry about your cat; i know how sad it is to see a pet suffer; they become like your family. my dog died of a heart attack and it was one of the saddest days of my life.
as far as the job, i am so happy for u!!! it sounds like a great oppurtunity. congrats and good luck!!!

I'm so sorry about your dog!! it's true they are like our babies, and the fact that they can't speak and tell you what's wrong is so heartbreaking, they're just so helpless.....I just keep telling myself 15 is a good age....I'm glad we had her for so long!

I am so happy for you Helen congrats on the Job and sorry about the kitty. I went thru something similar 2 weeks ago and know its devistating.

yes precious (my dog) was only 9. so it was even harder. but its never easy. we probably should have put her to sleep because she had heart trouble and was fainting and having attacks,. my heart broke to see her suffer but it broke my heart even more to have to put her to sleep. u never know what the right thing to do is. u r selfish when in that position and just want them to live forever...  it never gets better but def gets easier. i stil cry when i think of her or see her picture, but i know she is not suffering anymore, so that is what keeps me going...
