Hide me in Disney World !! I need your ideas
So we are going to Disney World in Feb. Let me see if I can explain this....
My hubby's step-father's sister and her hubsband. I like the 'step-uncle' he's really cool and we always have a great time with them, so when we started to help them plan their Disney trip for them and their 5 yr old granddaughter, they ended up inviting us to stay in their hotel (Gtand Flordian)
We jumped at the chance. $1400 including air fare, food, tickets for 5 day?? who can pass that up. I love rides a lot so I knew I could have fun
THEN I got BFP. I want NO ONE in either family to know until I'm over 2 months and the very first person who should know is MY father. So my first doctor appt is Feb 25 after we get back.
How do I hide in DW? I'll be 9-10 weeks ago (hopefully). I already tinkle so freaking often its embarassing. I seriously doubt I can do any of the extreme rides which I love and they know I do. Since we are all staying in the same room, I'll need to figure out a way for a 10pm snack for my prenatal vits
Jim suggests we tell people I am getting over the tummy bug to explain why I can't get on the rides AND have to go tinkle so often.
can you think of anything else I can use as excuses in case I need a quickie. What if I'm nauseous then? I won't show right? No issue with the plane right?

Ii dk--I am not a ride person but Ii would only go on the very tamest rides thats it....
pretty much nothing!
you can pretend to eat something bad on the flight down maybe..I dk this is a rough one! lol.
keep a small stock of food in a bag you can tke in the bathroom with you..lol...
personally I would say..its my vCATION! Ii am eating whatever I want!

First off, congrats
second, no rides at all, none.
The plane ride is fine, just check with your Dr.
Is there anyway you can keep a small snack with water next to your bed, this way you wont have to walk out in the open.
As for you showing, you may look bloated more than showing. I dont know what you look like but if your a skinny minnie you may show a little more. Just wear some comfortable looser fitting shirts.

What about saying that your doctor is questioning a "heart problem" so you don't feel safe going on rides right now?

I found this website it has a list of rides you should avoid....a lot of rides at disney are pretty tame and just like a car ride, so you should really be fine

Take some snacks with you and I guess you can use the "inner ear infection" as an excuse not to go on wild rides... That's probably what I would do!

We went to Las Vegas with friends when I was 6 weeks. We didn't tell them. I felt the same as you about our immediate family being the first to know and we wanted to wait until I was at least 9 weeks.
I said I was on an antibiotic due to a stomach bug, which was why I couldn't drink. But, with my constant nasusea and not wanting to stay out late cause I was tired, (does it take a week for an antibiotic to start working?)one of them guessed anyway.
In retrospect, I would have sworn them to secrecy. I felt terrible lying to them. At least consider it, if you feel you can trust them.
If not, another excuse for rides is a back problem...

Well I did tell them I have been in physical therapy lately for my shoulder. Which I really am.
I am not being bias, but honest. She’s a over excitable, very very talkative Jewish Mother/Grandmother. You think she’ll keep quiet???
