wow very happy to see that b/c I was just freaking out that I hightlighted my hair last week...did not even know I was prego yet (was only 3 weeks at the time).

Most dr's will say wait until after 12 weeks. Highlighting doesn't touch the scalp, so they are considered "safer" than dying, since the dye *can* seep in.
Whatever you are confy with

I've had mine done twice since the first trimester and might do it one more time. Dr. said it was ok. Hairdresser said she does pregnant people's all the time.

My hairdresser won't dye pregnant women's hair. My doctor said no hair dyeing. My pregnant friend's OB said it was perfectly fine. There's no real proof either way that it causes harm.

really? ive heard the opposite since highlighting doesn't go all the way to the scalp
I knew the first trimester i couldnt so i highlighted in my second trimester...but now im just not sure about the third, i need a touch up but i dont want to do it if its a no-no
