I really liked that episode. Much better than the previous week, even though not the funniest.

BUT have to disagree about the episode. it was sooo not funny and just rehashed all the mushy corny stuff the show started doing the past 2 seasons very heavy handedly. I mean, AGAIN with Robin/Ted thing? how many times can we put that to rest? and as much as I love Liliped and Murshmalow it felt a bit too saccharine even for them.
As many said on this thread - its time for HIMYM to be put to bed

I'm starting to think that the very last line of next week's episode will be "And that kids, is how I met your mother." That's how it's been with every other character the last few episodes. Last night, Robin met the mother, and that was all that was said. There wasn't any interaction with the Mother and the characters after that point. (That's obv not how last night's episode ended, but they don't go into any more detail with the other characters and the Mother after that).
I think Ted is going to meet her toward the end of the ceremony and that will be it. I don't think we'll ever know if she's supposed to die, because this is his story of how he met her. We've already seen their first date, and there is only one episode left. So I'm bracing for that last final statement, and then letting my imagination play out their future.
BTW, does she have a name?

No name yet as far as I know, but next week is actually 2 episodes, so maybe we will get a bit of closure.

Someone posted a link to a possible ending on FB - some site is saying that the mother will die, Robin and Barney will get divorced and Robin will end up with Ted.
Hoping it isn't true!

I doubt this. He refers to her as Aunt Robin in all the stories.
I've actually been enjoying the last 2 or 3 episodes... it's the end, maybe I'm just nostalgic.

I did! I kinda thought it was annoying that they were in character. I wanted to hear more about them and what they thought of the series ending.

I think you're right. Didn't they show him sitting down on a bench at the train station and it starts to rain. And then they show the yellow umbrella.

I thought they showed him meeting her at the wedding??..she is in the band or something...I also really hope she does not die... I am still after all of these years getting over the Roseanne finale!!!
