Hindu wedding invitation...
My AP invited us to his daughter's wedding. Any suggestions on what to wear? Is it the same as a normal Friday afternoon wedding?

Hmmm.. I'd say yes, dress as you would to a Friday afternoon wedding. Unless you'd like to impress your AP and don something Indian-inspired, or Indian wear!

I never been to a Hindu wedding...but I have been to a Indian award ceremony at the Crest Hollow. I wore a nice cocktail dress and a shawl over my shoulders.
Also, one of my friends went to a Hindu wedding and she wore a dress that she would wear to any other wedding w/ a shawl.

i would ask him. i went to my boss' wedding in "western wear" and although I would blend in at any other wedding...in a room of 600 people I think there were 5 of us that stuck out like sore thumbs. if i could do it over again I would have bought a sari. I have to say it was the best wedding I have ever been to though. Tons of fun and like 6 days of events. Enjoy!
