HLN is broadcasting the preliminary hearing for Justin Ross Harris
I'm so mad, sad, disgusted. There are some stories that will always stick with me. This is one of them.

He has major narcissistic personality disorder. Even when it happened all he could say was I can't believe this is happening to me. He was worried about getting fired from his job. Someone like that could never understand what it's like to truly love another human being, let alone his own son. He saw his son as an extension of himself and that's it.
Okay, so there's clearly something very wrong with him. We've seen one parent lose it and drown all their kids in the bathtub or something but I can't get passed that it seems to be both of them. That's not one parent with mental issues and a psychotic break. Her reactions were not right either. She immediately wanted to see her husband and not her kid, to protect her husband rather than strangle him. How can two parents be in on this? Everything seems to point that way though.

I agree. It has come out that she knew he had cheated on her. That they had intimacy issues. Maybe she knew he wanted this child free life and she is choosing her husband over her son? Who the f knows. She's a piece of sht too.
Neither one of them showed any emotion. If gd forbid that were me, I would need to be so heavily sedated I wouldn't be able to move.

They also found abrasions on the back of his head and scratches on his face sustained before his death.

The fact that he said to her that he dreaded how the baby would look and she didn't lose it on him. When would he have dreaded that if it wasn't planned?? As much as I love my husband I would be tearing him to pieces. I certainly wouldn't be asking him if he said too much to the police.

Exactly. Saying dreading shows intent. And wtf is she so worried what he said to the police.

then again, i'm still baffled over jon benet and if both her parents were in on it. or even if one of them was and the other helped cover it up -- why?
and in this case here -- well, I know i'm operating from a rather intelligent (mostly), rational and SANE aspect here - but how the **** do you think you could do this, search for those things, and not think you'd get caught? that's the second part that baffles me. not only are you mental, you're really ******* stupid, too.

What was his motive with the light bulbs? Just to check if he was dead? Maybe he hoped that one of his coworkers would notice? It's just bizarre.
I have been thinking about this. He probably did this so he could say it was an accident, that "would he have gone back to his car with friends" if he knew his son was still in there (on purpose)?

Maybe they were in a cult. The family as well.. The murderer's mother was heard screaming "Son of a *****" to the Judge after her stated that the monster was not going to get bond. That is weird too. Hello? Your grand baby died because of your son ... wouldn't you be angry with HIM? Instead she lashed out on the judge!? It seems they are all not all there in this sad situation.

Yes, It's deeply saddening. The scratches on his face were from him having seizures before he died.. His body was cooking.. his internal organs shutting down.. he was probably moving his arms and freaking out wondering why parents weren't around.. screaming and calling out for mommy and daddy and those sick evil monsters never came. It's disturbing but, when this happens, you deficate, your bodily fluids are excreted... it's a really horrible way to go. Cooper is in Heaven now. Away from those monsters. RIP BABY COOPER

man, judge should have thrown something on grandma for disrupting the court. I hope everything and anything this whole family does the judge jumps on. They all should live happily ever after. In jail that is. I bet the whole family abused him. He probably is in a better place. Away from these freaks! Such a heartbreaking story. I had a feeling there were money issues and life insurance policies.
