Hmmm fluid level too... HIGH????
This is a new one for me! I've read a lot about amnio fluid being too low, but after my sono last week, the doc called today and says my fluid is borderline "high"... According to the doc it could be "any number of things" like -Late development of GD, so I have to re-do the 1hr exam tomorrow, with the sugary goo.... - A viral infection - Or just 'nothing' but if its still high they're going to talk to me about inducing around my due date.
I don't get it. Any mommies/or M2Bs have this?

Re: Hmmm fluid level too... HIGH????
I just had a growth sono yesterday (I'm 37 weeks) and they said I have "a good amount" of fluid in there. I do have GD so they said that could sometimes be it but the OB didn't really seem concerned right now. The sono tech said the worst thing that will happen is my water will break and I'll go into labor. (That sounded great to me!!!!)

Re: Hmmm fluid level too... HIGH????
I had excess fluid (polyhydramios) with DD. They thought she had a swallowing condition that would need surgery at birth that was causing it - but luckily she didn't have the condition. They never figured out what it was from. I didn't have GD. It sounds like you are on the upper level of normal and not out of range yet. You can FM me if you have any questions or want someone to talk to.
