Hmmm... take her to the Dr. today or wait until tomorrow?
Ok, so Yael has her 6 month check up tomorrow afternoon.
Problem is, yesterday she was a little off - she didn't eat nearly as much formula as usual, was very cuddly and sleepy all day, and towards the end of the day, she was a little fussy and developed a low grade fever (101.5). She did have a cold late last week, and still has a little bit of a runny nose, but she's also drooling up a storm, has her hands in her mouth and is gnawing on everything.
She slept no problem last night - from 7-6:30am without a peep, and ate 7 ounces when she woke up. In great spirits, happy as a clam, though she still has a low grade fever, a little lower though (100.5).
Think I need to take her in today, or would you just wait it out until her appointment tomorrow?

Beth I swear we are leading parallel lives - my DD is doing exactly the same thing! She slept for 12 hours last night, which she never does, and woke up happy as a clam (although she still has a low grade temp of 100). I'm going to call her dr today because she doesn't have an appt scheduled for several weeks but if I had one tomorrow I might consider waiting...maybe call them and tell them what's been going on and ask if it's ok to wait another day if it is another ear infection?

Go with your instinct. I was in the same sitaution with Mason. He was a little off on Wednesday, but had a Doc appt on Friday. I waited and it wound up being he was sick and had to be put on amoxocylin. Maybe if the fever goes up take her and see how her spirits are today.

I think I'll keep her home with me today and if she starts acting off again at all, I'll just take her in, otherwise, I'll wait until tomorrow. Hopefully it's just a little teething episode in the both of them!

Sounds like a teething fever...did you give her tylenol? There's not much they can do for a low grade fever other than that.

I would wait until tomorrow, to me it sounds like it is teething related.

It's an enigma! I just took her temp a little while ago and now it's normal, 98.6! I think it might be teething... so I sent her to school, and will wait for our appt. tomorrow.
