I already got her some games/small toys, but I think Grandma and I are going in on a Rose Petal Cottage and a bicycle (since MIL "took" Amber's back after the divorce

We got Ds a few balls last year because he was so little and family bought him tons of toys. This year we will probably get him something for outdoors in the spring. I also want to get him a kitchen, but we'll see if he gets it for his b-day first.

DS is getting the Smart Cycle as the main item. Probably other little things as well. Still have no idea about DD..... until the house gets done next year, we don't have much room for more stuff...

She literally took back EVERYTHING she gave Amber after the divorce. Her toybox, every toy, even clothes. Her reasoning?? She felt that "I" shouldn't benefit from Amber's gifts; like I should be responsible to replace these items because I decided to divorce her son. Nothing was ever given without strings, so I wasn't surprised. Try to explain such involved situations though to a three year old who had her bike taken from her They can take their bike and shove it! I bought her a scooter that she enjoys MUCH more

You're not the one riding the bike or playing with the toys. How is it benefiting you? Her reasoning is just as stupid as she is. Sorry, but what a total dumb a s s of a MIL/person she is.
What does she plan to do with everything she took back anyway?

From Santa, the Step 2 kitchen, the aquadoodle mat for the car, some pjs, an a few other toys. I'm not going crazy she's too young to know exactly what's going on. I(we) are very excited for the kitchen!!!
We are getting the Step 2 as well I can't wait to play with it!! Since it's nicer than my own kitchen

What does she plan to do with everything she took back anyway?
She's "keeping" it at her house so when Amber visits (she's only been there like 2x in the last year) and her other granddaughter visits, they'll have toys, etc.

I'm the QUEEN of going overboard, but not this year! Nicholas will get a few Lego sets he wants, a Pirates of the Carribbean thing and that's it. Last year he got sooooo much stuff and most of it was packed up and sent to the thrift store a while back since it sat around and collected dust.
Emma is getting like three things. I don't need the clutter and she won't know the difference. I bought her these two things already
