Hofstra Univ. & Autism Spectrum Disorders
I am not sure how many of you know about this program.
Hofstra has received a grant for Diagnostic & research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders.
They do a very indepth evaluation of your child 2-3 hours for 2-3 days.
it is part of an ongoing study. even if your child was diagnosed they may still accept them.

DS goes next week to see if he is accepted into this program.
it's fairly new so i am not really sure what it will entail.

I am not aware of this study, however I did go to Hofstra for my Masters. They now have the BCBA program and the woman in charge of "everything Autism" at Hofstra is a highly respected in the field. Her name is Mary McDonald and she is the director of the Genesis school in Plainview. Find out if she has anything to do with this, if she does for sure it will be great!

what kind of study are they doing?
i am not sure.. we are going for our first study on the 21st.
i will scan later the brochure i got and post it.
