i sent out 40 cards this year and got 12 back so far!!! i am not happy about that. 
i sent out 78 and got back about 32

I get it pretty much from everyone that I send it to, but if I see a pattern of not receiving one from someone that I always send it to, I just won't send it next year.

I'm not big on sending cards. I have a short list that I send and usually it's last minute.
I get a lot more than I send but that's just me...not a big card person for that reason.
I am a big card person for birthdays though.

some people just dont send cards... i enjoy sending cards , so it doesnt bother me too much... but what does bother me is when my mom and dad will get christmas cards from people (who I sent my own cards to as well) and it will be to the "family" ... I am married and live in a completely different state then my parents, I sent you my own card...you have my address, send me my own

I sent out 39, got 17 so far. If I don't get for 2 years, I stop sending, unless it is someone who never sends (older person).

I keep a list of who I send to and if they send back. I will continue on sending to the elderly family memebers knowing they can not send back, but for all others that do not send back I give them 2 holiday seasons and if nothing they are cut.

No. And I deal with it fine. I don't send out cards or give out gifts (ever) expecting anything in return.

No. We have some older fam members who do not send back, which we totally understand. Honestly, I don't expect to get one back -- it is our way of saying that we are thinking of you during the holidays and acknowledging the recipient in our hearts.
