holiday gift for full time babysitter
our baby sitter comes to us...she works everyday....8 hrs 3 days a week, 4hours the other 2 days...she gets $400 a week.....how much should we give her? she is 22(I dont even think this matters!)

I was a full time nanny in Manhattan. I always got one week salary as a holiday bonus (sometimes more) + little gifts , like a GC to Sephora and things like that.
So depending where you live and how long she has been with you , I would say at least $100.

this year I am giving $150 to Coach bc I know she loves to shop there...

Am I a cheap azz because all I got her was a $25 Kohl's GC? We pay her VERY well and don't have the funds to give her an extra week's salary. James has only been with her for 2 weeks so far... 
eta - our sitter watches James in her home - she's in her mid-forties.

The first year we got our babysitter a 100.00 gc to tellars, last year- 100. amex gc, this year 150.00 gc to working adavantage. i was going to get broadway.com gift certificate so she can pick her own show & time, but its 310.00 for 2 ticket gc. working adavantage, she can get tickets for MUCh cheaper. Or anythign else that she wants :)

no not at all hon!!! no matter what you give i'm sure is appreciated. i'm a hairdresser and this year my holiday tips have sucked that's even if i got any at all. people just don't have the money this year. what you got is fine!! don't stress!!
