Holiday photo card question

Where are you ordering your holiday cards from?

Also, if you have an example of poses that you used for your DC's picture, can you please post them? Thanks

I am thinking of wrapping Mikayla in a string of lights or placing her in a big gift box with a santa hat on but am open to other suggestions as well, thanks Chat Icon

OMG Steph - that sounds ADORABLE!!!!!

We're very boring over here - but this year I have a few ideas. However, with 2 toddlers I'm not expecting anything Chat Icon

For the lights - are you using white or color? If you use color, in photoshop you could make the photo black and white and color the lights and her hat......I'd be happy to do it for you if you want Chat Icon

Re: Holiday photo card question

This was Nate's card at 6 months. I had a green towel in the background. DH thought I was crazy for setting up his room like a mini photo shoot. I had outfits, a 2 lamps w/out shades in the room, and different back drops.

I got 100 for $30 at Sam's Club

If I ever a post cried out for Melbernai's Santa picture of Emily, it's this one. I'll see if she kept it up.

It was absolutely adorable!

Re: Holiday photo card question

Last year, we did this. DS was 3.5, and DD was about 6 mo. I figured there wouldn't be an easy way of getting both of them to cooperate, so I put DD in a box, and made it look like DS was wrapping her up and shipping her.... Chat Icon

ETA, I usually use shutterfly

I saw one on another board where they laid the baby in a diaper under the tree with the gifts and put a bow on the belly. The baby was staring up at the lights, it was so cute!

Here it is

My MIL bought them from Red Envelope. This were from last yr. By the time I took them it was almost Christmas.

Re: Holiday photo card question

I haven't done our's yet but I definately recommend Costco for the cards. $15.99 for the first set and 5.99 for each 25 after that. They are very good quality and wonderful heavy envelopes. I use them all the time for photo cards.
