Holiday work parties.. what is everyone wearing?
I really hate the idea of buying anything I cant wear more than once for this.. Im thinking black slacks and a nice burgendy top.. but now to find it.  I figure this way I can also wear for christmas day. The work party is at a Yacht club.. same as last year so I think that will be okay to wear.. if i find a blouse thats not too plain.
What else is everyone else wearing and where did you get it?

I would try to dress up something in your existing wardrobe as opposed to buying something new that you probably will not wear again.
I feel like pregnant women get a pass at events like this.
You should be comfortable and not dressing to impress lol.

ugh; i have NOTHING to wear
ive been home on bedrest for 2 weeks now
my party is december 11 and i am supposed to return to work december 1st so i have been wondering the same thing
i saw some cute holiday appropriate tops on JCPENNEY.com so i was thinking of ordering one and wearing it with black pants i have

We have two, the local one is at a bar, so I'll be wearing whatever still fits and is reasonably festive.
The corporate party is formal, I'll be skipping that one because it is two days before my due date and is about 2.5 hours from my hospital.

Wish i could but last pregnancy was a different season.. so with this belly theirs no cloths i can spruce up.

I found a black wrap dress at Sears i will wear
and i found a pretty red and sequin criss cross top at sears as well!

i got a simply brown/neutral tones circles pattern dress at Sears. it was like $20 and totally reusable.

I am going with DH to his party-- which I guess is sorta mine, since I freelance at his company.
It's always at Tavern on the Green, and let me tell you-- it's quite the errr, Fashion Parade. From hoochie dresses, to gold lame to ballgowns. BTW, this is not a formal event.
I usually just wear something black, with dressy earrings and call it a day. I'll do the same this year, I am sure as hell not getting something new.

I'll only be 8 weeks for our holiday party but I'll probably wear some elastic waist pants and a sweater. Nothing too out of the ordinary
