Holtsville is a nice area. I can't really think of a bad part. Some is brand new, some old but for the most part big property SD and close to LIE and sunrise. Definately worth looking

well you know our story... nothing N of the LIE b/c of DH's looooooooooooooong commute already. IMO, that is a very nice area. it's very close to NE Village in Holbrook. right off of Patch-Holbrook Rd

it's not really that far. 10 minutes or less I would say. not sure about the rush hours though. you should do a drive by... it's a nice neighborhood! nice wide streets, sidewalks, plenty of room between houses, people take great care of their property, etc.

that house is nice from the outside. the inside is ok, def needs a lot of updating!! the rooms were plentiful but VERY SMALL! the basement was the smallest one I have ever seen Chat Icon and the yard is bizarre! I would say 2/3 of it is a slope and has low hanging electric/phone/cable wires.

I've definitely seen a lot worse though.

ETA: it also has a HUUUUUUGE antenna on the roof - I haven't seen anything like that in years! Chat Icon

I lived in Holtsville and it is pretty close to both the LIE and Sunrise---a very accessable area IMO. I liked living there.

Nice area, good schools, and the property sizes are great for LI. I have friends that live there and they love it. Close to Port Jeff and all the great restaurants too. Chat Icon

We live there. Some of the areas near the LIE and LI Ave aren't so great.
We live off of Ocean between the LIE and Sunrise just south of Summerfield which is a beautiful gated community but too much $$ for us. Anyway- there are a lot of nice homes for sale in our neighborhood. You can only enter the development from Ocean Ave- the West Side borders on the ecological park. If you enter through Masonic Ave you can get a good idea of the neighborhood. We live on 11th

My aunt lives on 9th. I went to a open house on 4th Ave. a few weeks ago. I liked the houise. It had an inground pool. We aren't looking but we went to see it anyway. I love that neighborhood.

I think I know which one you are talking about. It has a house for sale next to it to right? I love that house also but I think they are asking too much-- 419 I think. When we bought our house that one was for sale... we've lived on 11th since December.
Was it this house?
