Holtsville Ecology Center or LI Game Farm
My mom is off tomorrow and wanted to do something with the kids. Was trying to come up with somewhere we haven't gone yet.
And does anyone know if the Ecology center open to anyone or just Town of Brookhaven residents? I can't find the answer on their website.

the game farm is definitely more interactive with more things to do. However, the Ecology farm hasa really nice zoo like set up and some cool animals (a giant bear for one) to walk around and see and its free!

The game farm costs an arm and a leg, but the kids love it. The ecology site is free and the kids love it just as much - its just better for a quicker trip.

YES! But mostly bc you can touch the animals. Its just all outside on unpaved paths, so its like walking through nature but with captive animals.

I like the Ecology site! You can see the animals, the kids can play on the playground and its free!

We went to the LI Game farm last year and was actually disappointed because of the outrageous admission prices.
I say ecology center. They have great animals and a great playground. Plus, its open to everyone and its free. Have fun!
