Yeah.....so?
It's a lot of fun,a nd a good way to get out with your friends
I obviously know nothing about house parties... but from the outside looking in, it looks like companies merely barging into an otherwise fab party and plugging cr@p.... how good are the freebees? hopefully, people actually benefit from going to these....

The Gerber one I did was 60lbs of baby food, cereal, graduates, etc.
I also got a Maybelline one with compacts, makeup bags, and AWESOME gloss (which I and many of the girls at work use all the time now).
Totally worth it IMO.

I did the SATC one 
It was a lot of fun. I got the DVD and we gave out some pretty nice martini glasses. Regardless of the giveaways, it was fun to have the girls over

awesome!
I just had one for werthers chocolates on Saturday---I got 5 cases of chocolates & sticky pads & coupons & games for my guests & I also got a fleece blanket b/c it was "cozy" party.....too bad it was 89 out that day!
But it was fun & the chocolate was AWESOME!!
