holy cow (literally) water weight!
I'm not in the business of weighing myself everyday...but just for fun I wanted to see how much "water weight" I gained.
I went to TWOTY yesterday (I was in the bridal party) and went all out eating. Then to a friends house and ate more.
Total weight gain in 2 days = 7lbs.
Now I'm going away for 3 days (Atlantic City= dairy queen, denny's, and buffets).
I'll probably end up gaining about few lbs.
I keep telling myself not to worry because I know its going to be water weight (I always gain about 7-8lbs when I go on vacation and lose it within two weeks). But a little extra reassurance would be appreciated!
I can feel the "food baby" inmy tummy right now from yesterday still

Those days get to me too! I hate seeing that number go up no matter what the reason.
Once you get back into your normal routine the scale will go back down, just drink lots of water and eat clean when you get back and you'll be fine! :) You gotta lose control occasionally, we all do it!

Re: holy cow (literally) water weight!
Thank you ladies! I had DH talking sense into me as well.
I refuse to count points or watch what I eat on vacation (to me, its just a waste!). Its only 3 days so I just want to enjoy and then worry about taking the weight back off when I get back.

It seriously is amazing how water weight bloats the stomach. The way you eat and work out, you will lose it in no time. I agree about going all out on vacations, I never diet on vaca...it just doesn't seem right. Let me know how AC is....I have been wanting to go. Have fun
