We were kinda new to this so we did not do too much.
CD1 was 1/24. I went on mycycle.com and tracked AF and when, based on my average cycle length, they expected me to O, which was 2/7.
We BD'd on: 2/1, 2/4, 2/7, and 2/11. We didn't want to BD too much because DH has low testosterone and we were not sure if that effected count/motility in his case. Also, TMI, but made sure I was "happy" after each time . I heard that increases the chances, if anything it increases the amount of fluid. I also cut my caffiene, took Follic Acid (800 mu). I tried prenatals, but they were making me sick, so I just went back to the Follic Acid w/ calcium. DH also took vitamins.
I avoided cold cuts, cut down on caffiene...basically ate like I was PG. I also took a low dose aspirin since blood clotting genes run in my family.
The rest I just kissed up to God. In the begining I was testing like crazy, but after a few BFN's, I realized that besides the BD-ing, I really don't have much control over it. The only thing I could do was stay healthy and if AF came, I would use an OPK to get a better understanding of my cycle. I think it takes a different amount of time for everyone. I really think it was the BD-ing on the 11th that sealed the deal since it took so long to get a BFP. The less pressure I put on myself, the better my attitude was towards the end...which also caught me so off guard when I got the BFP!
