Holy Follicle Update at the bottom
I was on 50mg of Clomid this month from day 5 to 9 and I didn't produce more than one follie but the one I did is 32mm! I guess that's good right? I go for the IUI tomorrow morning.

That is huge! The biggest I ever got was around 23 mm.

I know I was really shocked this morning...DH said it's a super egg...now fingers crossed the swimmers won't miss it!

glad you were able to make a follicle!! Not to be a debbie downer, but that size is very large. I would ask about the possibility of it being a cyst overmature.

Really? She didn't seem concerned at all today? Would something like that show up in my blood work?
ETA: I do always produce a follie--I just figured this one was larger b/c of the clomid? I think mine was around 24mm for my last natural cycle.

Good luck Kris!!! I'm also on clomid and just finished my prescription last night and I'm dying to know how/if it worked.

I will be so sad if this is a waste of a cycle. Yes they told me to bring my Ovidrel tomorrow morning.

Also I am  as to how your RE let this follie get so big without triggering? Were you being monitored. I know it isn't what you want to hear but I think Rose and Gerty may be right. This can make you more vigilant in your next cycle. Best of luck!

I would definitely question that follie...a normal follicle is usually around 24mm...that sounds big.
I have heard of them that big, but it's rare and should at least be monitored to make sure its not a cyst.

I was at the doctor on Friday and she didn't mention the size--I should have asked but didn't. I was away Sat and Sunday for my best friends bachelorette at a Spa in CT and so I guess it's my fault b/c they definitely would have been monitoring me this w/e if I was around.  Because I was away they told me to just use OPK's to see if I am surging and if I surged while I was away to bring DH in today. I used the OPK this morning and I got my surge so I called to see if I should bring DH and they said no that he would come for the 2nd day of the surge. errrrr This is all so frustrating. I feel like this is my fault now but I couldn't have predicted that this would be happening on the same w/e as the bachelorette party.
ETA - Thank you for all of the responses I really had no idea at all that this was so abnormal. At least I'm not walking in there blind tomorrow.

It is a large size for a follie, but maybe you will have luck.
Don't blame yourself, follies grow about 2mm a day, so it still would have been larger than 24mm or so on Friday. Did they test your LH on Friday?
When did you finish clomid?

Yes they tested my LH and gave me instructions to be there at 7:45 for the insemination. I finished the clomid on thursday the 15th (9DPO). I'm trying not to get myself too worked up. I'm going to go there tomorrow as planned and hope all goes well!

Just an update. I went in for the IUI this morning and asked the doctor about the size of the follicle and she said it was normal for being a clomid cycle and that everyone is different. She said that I had a great LH surge yesterday and everything was good. Now I wait.
