holy heart attack
Ollie was running around the house and DH accidentally left the front door open (we live on the 1st floor of a co-op so we have the front door and then the door to our apt right there). DH opens the door to our apt and Ollie JETS out the front door. We live on a really busy street and she started running towards the traffic! Luckily she ran back before she got to the street. Our super happened to be walking by and she stopped to play with him and he was able to catch her. I'm still catching my breath, I can't believe she jetted out like that.

Very scary! We have baby gates up in front of all of our doors that lead outside. Better safe than sorry!
