My DH read something on warnings and advisories this morning that said the heat index will be around 106 today in Levittown.
I was going to drive out to Medford to use my brother's pool, or I could go to my FILs right around the block to use his pool, but honestly I just want to stay inside in the AC!

It definately is hot! I feel terrible for DH today...He is walking around NYC in a suit!!! Glad we have CAC at home. I am outta work in 40 minutes & I am headed straight home!!!!

Just wanted to say that its around 90 degrees here in the UK and NO ONE, NO WHERE has air conditioning. We sleep with fans blowing HOT air on us all night. They have to send warnings out on the news to old people telling them not to wear so much clothes! There are HUGE amounts of deaths among the elderly here because its not usually this hot. I see elderly people in the street wearing their coats and hats! Its so sad!

Why do the elderly wear coats and hats in such hot weather?
Its because they don't know how to dress in this weather and they don't have adequate clothing for such heat. Normally in the summer the temps are up to like the 70's.
Its really sad.
