We're coming to NY in July. While we're there, we'll probably drive out to Montauk for a day or so with the kids. Then DH and I are leaving the kids with my parents for 4 days to go to Newport, RI to celebrate our 5yr anniversary.

We'll probably do a bunch of local trips around Chicago, maybe go back to Lake Geneva for a weekend. We plan to take them to the Aquarium, Museum of Science and Industry and the Zoo.

We are going to Sesame Place the end of the month and the Railroad Museum.

In August we are going to Maine for a week.

And in between, day trips to the Zoo and Aquarium. And weekends out east at my parents of course

And we also want to go to AC with the kids.

I AM SO EXCITED IT IS WARM OUT!!!!!! YAY

We are going to Charleston Wed(I have a business trip but am bringing my DH and the boys) It will be their first time at the beach!

I am signing them up for a Saf-t-swim sort of course-first we are going to test them out in the warm water instruction pool make sure they like it.

I am also doing Mommy and Baby yoga-it is a great deal I think- $200 for both kids for 8 weeks. I have a trial class next Wed-I think my babysitter will come with me.

My SIL is moving here on July 1st so we will finally have someone here to hang with and I'm sure she'll watch the babies for me too. They also have a pool where they are living so we plan to be over there a lot.

We will be visiting NY in July.

hershey park and lancaster in two weeks, a few summer first birthdays and wednesdays off till september for the beach and other fun summer activities!

All I know is that:

I AM SOOOOO NOT TEACHING SUMMER SCHOOL!!!

OH YEAH!!!

For the first time in my teaching career, I am going to be home with my daughter. She is signed up for gym classes and we will also be doing Music Together as well. She has a playgroup to keep her socialized once a week with some pretty ROCKIN kids!

The only bad side is that I will actually be expected to cook and clean. I may start stashing away money for a housekeeper so DH thinks I actually did something productive!

I can't wait for summer!!!

I just made arrangements to increase my paralegal's hours so I can enjoy my summer! I'll be working but I'll get to enjoy some vacation days. We're going to Fire Island for 5 days but we hope to book more days out there. Fire Island is a big part of my life and I'm glad I can bring my child there now. We'll be part of a playgroup plus DH and I have some special places in mind to take DS--the zoo, Splish Splash and a few other places. DH and I are going to the US Open. We may go to Hilton Head for DH to play some golf.

My older kids will go to camp at the park. My 3 year old will go to camp at the preschool. The older ones will do a bowling league each week and DS #1 will do soccer camp for 1 week. DS #1 will also do Camp Invention for 1 week and DD and DS #2 will go to Bible School. The older 2 will go camping with my DH and his firehouse for a few days. We will all go to my SILs lakehouse a few times. My DD's bday, DH's bday. One of my best friends will be visiting with her girls. My nephew will come to visit from Atlanta. A few days trips, swimming in my other SIL's pool daily... I guess we're covered LOL

well ill count june eventhough we arent doing that much....three parties to go to in june

july: dh's company family picnic, the last week in july our very first vacation as a family (me dh and our dd) to Montauk (I have been going to Montauk every yr since I was 7yrs old! so im so excited that now I could share that with my little girl )

august: well besides dd's first birthday bash, and i'm sure other invites to functions will be coming our way....i would like to look into fire island, dh and i have always wanted to go and never have....maybe for a weekend??? we'll see

Well, we went to Florida in May so that was our big vacation for the summer. In a week we are spending the day at Sesame Place. The local mom's group got tickets for $20 per person.

We have birthday parties almost every weekend to go to and some weekends we have 2 or three birthday parties.

I signed DS up for summer camp for every Monday in July. Wednesdays we have music class. I was going to sign DS up for the next session of swim lesions but his group was scheduled for 8 am and I just did not think that was worth it for us. We will go to our pool and have play dates. I will try to go to the zoo and aquarium too.

i cant believe its june already!
i am thinking about what to do for dd's 1st b-day next month. it seemed like it took us forever to get thru her much out off baptism that finally happened last week, so now i feel like i am a lil late getting started on her b-day party, but i will carry on!
we are thinking of trying to get away for like 3 nites just us over the summer when dh is off, a much needed adult getaway to like vegas or something. that is, of course, if i can tear myself away from dd, and mostly get past the idea of leaving her with my MIL! that is goin to be tough, because i know she will not follow my instructions, and will feed her things i wouldnt dream of, and that totally freaks me out!
other than that, planning mostly on getting out and checking out some fun places to bring dd out here, getting to some fun fairs, taking dd on some picnics, maybe sign up for some class for her, go to the beach, etc...
oh yeah, and also, hope over the summer to spend some more time on the north shore, specifically the e northport/northport/greenport area,so maybe dh will really like it out there more and consider moving out there in the not so distant future.
