Holy smokes - Keyspan
Just got my Keyspan bill for last month and almost fell down...
The bill is $475!!!!!!
I know it was cold and I like my house warm but OMG.....
how was everyone elses' bill???

this month our keyspan bill was INSANE as well...DH and I were shocked it was just over 400 dollars for 39 days...its never that high

Mine was a little under $400 and we only have a 1300 square foot house--hopefully with our new boiler we can save some money--the real problem though is our drafty windows--i hope it starts going down.

We just paid $288 for last month. That's pretty average for us, sometimes higher and sometimes lower. I am home all day with the kids, so I keep the house warmer than if I was out all day.

We've only been in the house since August of last year. Our bill for September was $27. We have a gas dryer & heating. Our LIPA bill for August was $478 - we have central air, so I think I'll put everything on Budget Billing. I think the problem is the house is a 3 level split ranch and it's very open plan, even though we have 3 heat zones, go figure. That bill did scare me. It was originally $700 + but I got them to read the meter

The first year we were here we got a $350 bill in the winter.
Now we do balanced billing, no surprises.

Well I have oil heat and my bill is $300 a month. My Keyspan is $10.00 for gas stove and dryer. My electric bill is $120.00 a month. None of these are budgets.

I live in a little apt and my gas bill for heat and cooking was 375 this month. AND we turn the heat off during the day!!!!!!!!!!!
Needless to say I was not a happy camper!

My feb bill was $425 so I feel your pain. And the highest we kept the thermastat also was 68 degress.

we live in an apt and pay $50 a month for Keyspan. we're on the budget billing.
funny how my MIL pays the same as we do for her monster sized condo in OH

my bill was 215.00, but I haven't had an actual reading since December 2006 I am scared to see what happens when they finally come to read the meter.
