Home Invasions in Suffolk this week..
On the news this morning they said there were two home invasions this week in SUffolk - one in Islip and the other in Lindenhurst...
I can't believe this is happening again after the string of them 2 years ago! It's so scary!

Re: Home Invasions in Suffolk this week..
SO SCARY!!! We moved in October of 2005. There was a really bad string of home invasions. I was up all night. Paranoid. The old home owner stopped by and I told them I was so nervous at night and the guy gave me their alarm code since we made the appointment but didn't get it hooked up yet. It was seriously the only way I could sleep at night. Im not working right now so we tried to cut back on some bills but I can't get rid of the alarm best 30.00 I spend.

Yeah, I heard this and automatically thought of the thread the other day on the home board about "Do you leave your windows open when you are not home"? I could not believe how many people replied they do, even after all these home invasions.

It's a sad world that we have to keep our doors and windows locked at all time. Those poor families that were affected.
Hopefully they will catch whoever is doing this.

The one in Islip was on the same street as my aunt and uncle...very frightening.

there used to be (may still be) a show on tv that was started by 2 burglars and bascially they would break into people's homes, show them how they did it and then set them up with everything they needed to be safer.
