******This week's Suffolk GTG...the weather
UPDATE 2/22 Just to make sure everyone has seen this, Ro has cancelled the reservation for tonight at Applebees. A few people have suggested having it on a Saturday afternoon, rather than a Friday night, so when Ro signs on we'll probably set up another poll to pick a day. Thanks everyone for understanding. 
So far the predicition for the weather this Friday is rain, however the weatherpersons are not always right, and there is a risk of the roads freezing as we go home. So I pose this question to you..
Should we re-schedule, go anyway, or cancel?
Please answer the poll & feel free to add comments to help us decide.

UPDATE: Ok so it seems that the weather is again back to rain and not snow. I think Blu-ize is right & that we might have a better chance of being comfortable in the restaurant if the weather is bad (not awful).
Are we all OK with leaving it for tomorrow and if the weather looks bad in the afternoon we change it?

I have to say that if the roads are going to freeze, I won't be able to make it because I live on a very steep block, and I had a bad scare the last time we had frozen roads....

Liza, actually your incident and the other accidents lsst week is what made me think of it. The main roads will probably stay clear, but our side roads may not be.

Well the thing is for such a big party we have to make a reservation ahead of time for them to accommodate us. I'd hate to leave them hanging waiting for over 40 people. It can really affect the staff that thought they were getting a big party, KWIM?

Honestly, IMO, I'm not going to weather freak about this until I actually see what comes down and what it does. I've heard more rain than snow, and I plan on going if people will go. It may be a smaller crowd, but it will still be fun!

I mean we can always plan another one anyway and keep this one. I just would need to tell Ro how many people are still going to come so they she can make the right reservation.

They are now saying snow. Long Island will get 1-3 with the North Shore maybe getting more then 3.

See this is my problem with it. They change the forecast so much that it is hard to make solid plans....

So why not make it half that number, since people do bail at the last minute, and chairs can always be added if need be.

I can deal with the rain... If it snows and it's a lot I'm thinking of canceling it, i dont want to risk any of my lovely lif ladies lives and we can alway's reschedule for another time . If you still want to go i'll call ahead and we will go. But as long the roads aren't icy & the weather isn't to dangerous.
