home laminating machine
Does anybody have their own laminator? If so, what brand/make and is it worth it to buy?

I have one! It is a GBC and it does 8.5X11". It was pretty cheap and I use it often! I teach special ed. so I have used it to laminate PECS and other little signs for the classroom. Big stuff I do elsewhere, but for little jobs, I like the flexibility of being able to do it at home.

Yes- Its the Scotch brand I beieve from Walmart for about $25....then I buy the large box of laminating pockets from Sam's club for about $10 I think
It's soooo worth it....I can do my small projects anywhere and not have to wait for my turn on the school laminator ( if its even working that is)
The only downside is it can only do small papers, not large posters.

I have the same. I laminated so much stuff so far this year (basket labels, calandar pieces...) i also get package of 50 laminating sheets from BJs. I think its $10.
Anything big i bring to lakeshore. .29 cents a linear foot. I laminated a some big things the other day a it was maybe $5.00

I agree iwth the Scotch one for small and Lakeshore for big. Plus, use my bonus points from scholastic to get more pouches.
