Home made waffle question?
When making homemade waffles, how do you keep them crispy while cooking the rest? I made waffles this past weekend but by time I got them to the table they were soggy. Any tips?

I've found the only real way to keep them crispy is to cook them longer than you normally would since they'll still soften up a bit. Or serve them right away.

They do get soggy fast. I find putting them on a baking rack helps so that the steam can escape. If you put them on a plate they end up wet.
