home oil prices- whats the going rate?
got a call from our current company and want to see what prices are out there. thanks in advance.

I just locked in at 3.39 with a free service contract. That was based on crude at $96.00 a barrel.

You got lucky. That's an excellent deal.
Not really luck as it was negotiated over a period of time. We are in a homeowners "oil group". If you have a group of people in the neighborhood that are interested, you can negotiate with a oil company and get a group rate.
I wish I had known you were interested Corinne. I would have invited you to sign up when they had the open house this past weekend. If they open it up again, I'll let you know. I'll also keep you in mind for next year.
Side note, maybe a bunch of you guys on the boards can group together and do something similar.
