Home remedies to bring on Labor
I'm being induced on Sunday, but was thinking of starting to try some of the Labor promoting home remedies as early as tonight...
Anyone have good ideas....

Ones I've done (with no success lol)
Having sex
eating the infamous eggplant parm
eating spicy food
alot of walking
doing squats
pinching my nipples (lol)

See and I have no faith in squats... my job required bending and all pregnancy long I would squat down to pick up what I needed... thankfully in the early times nothing ever happened... I laugh when people say "don't bend" - I'm like why not? I do more of a squat then a bend anyway - better for the back. I've walked a ton too, but maybe now at 39 weeks it'll have some results.
Can you have any eggplant parm or does it have to be a special recipe/ingredient?
Spicy food scares me a little - my heart burn has been so bad I'm afraid I'd be in labor pain and burping! I've had horrible reflux lately so I may not go that route.

I've heard of: having sex (worked for my cousin), alot of walking, spicy food, chineese food.
Don't try exlax...my mom did that because I was 9 days late and all it did was give her the runs

Oh my... with all the pushing, that would be a nightmare  I'll go for the chinese food... sounds really yummy right now...

The night I went into labor I had Chinese food. Also, DH made sure to hit every bump and pothole in the road...

I have to tell you none of the remedies worked for me with DD.
I've also heard of massaging a spot in your ankle that helps bring on labor that one I did not try but some people swear by it.

With DS I had his furniture delivered and they left those huge boxes. Well their I was on all 4's outside breaking up the boxes and taping them. 2 day's later I went into labor.
With DD I went nuts cleaning because we were moving into our new house so, again I did alot of bending. That same night we had sex and well 2 hours later I was in labor and had dd that afternoon.

Both myself and mrsv1015 went into labor after walking Tanger.  I don't know if that really counts as a home remedy though.
