Home safely! (added some pics)
Made it home from S.C. - 13+ hours after we left!
It's good to be home 
The beach was nice (and I *hate* the beach!), the day trip to Charlotte was fabulous - I fell in love with a particular builder's design, and even more so with the price!!  
My black terrycloth tracksuit shed all over me - lol - gotta go tend to that.

Really liked this home: (stone-front, not brick)
A *little* big for us at 4100 sq feet but at $73.17 a sq foot, I'd take it
7 BEDROOMS - YES, SEVEN. 3.5 bath. Easily converted to offices/playrooms, etc....but still. 4100 sq feet....it had the upgrades tooo. All granite counters in Kitchen, marble in bathroom, hardwood throughout, standard central air and vac, third floor bonus room with full bath, upgraded stainless appliance package - stove, sink, fridge, dishwasher, WINE CHILLER BUILT INTO CABINET...double height ceiling in the family room, all gas fireplaces, laundry room on the same floor as the bedrooms, etc.
A little too over the top

looks like a great trip!! my dad/stepmom have lived in charlotte the past 10 years---its such a great city, DH & I have so much fun everytime we go!

I hate the beach... my parents drove up to the NC coast - wilmington, brunswick, etc - didn't like it.
I really liked Charlotte! Great place to live!
