home security systems
we just bought a home that is wired for ADT when we called they said we still have to pay a $100 installation fee, can anyone reccomend another company?

Is Gensecurity the same as General? My house is wired also, and I saw an add from general that looked good, just not sure?

Yes...General Security (GenSecurity) is the sister company to General Oil.
I use both and have been very happy thus far.

We just had a system installed by Brinks. We got more than the basic, extra windows and doors, wireless, etc. and are very happy. The add-ons were approx. $600.

if you go with them, tell them one of us refered you. I've already referred somebody, so I would use Lorich, she's next up. We get a free 3 months with every referral. (not why we are suggesting them though).

We have ADT but are probably switching. We are getting an estimate from a company where you buy the system but monitoring is only about $17 per month. Have to see how high the equipment is first though.
