Homebrew Beer Kit..Anybody try one?
So for Christmas my DW got me a home beer brewing kit. I made a batch and have had it fermenting in my basement for the past 2 weeks. I am going to bottle it tonight. I was wondering if anybody else has tried any homebrew yet? It's such a long process. It's over a month until I can taste the fruits of my labor.

A few of my friends did it. They liked it but had no patience to wait for it to ferment....the novelty wore off too quickly
My friends are drunks though....

DH has the Mr. Beer kit.. he really enjoyed laboring over it all, the beer was pretty decent too!

DH used to do it before I met him, but it was such a process, he stopped. He did say the beer was worth it in the end, though.

Awesome. It is a process and you need to sterilize everything. But I am hoping it tastes good. I would hate to waste all that time and have something that I can't drink.

DH is in the process of doing it right now. He's already bottled it, and its fermenting as we speak. Its about another month until we can drink it- but we are so looking forward to it!

DH has been making beer with his Mr. Beer kit for over a year. He loves it. He uses a lot of different recipes from their website. He's only had one batch that hasn't come out too good (no bubbles).
