Homegoods--what are the best locations

Never been to one, but from the website it looks like every location has different stuff. Which location is your favorite?

I dont find the one in Syosset to be that great. I like the one in Commack and RVC.

Re: Homegoods--what are the best locations

I guess I should specify that I'm looking for wall decor. Something dramatic to go over my couch.

i like the commack one because it has a ton of oddball things for super cheap, but to me it's kind of a dig/sort and find adventure. the new one in bay shore is nice because it's really organized.

I usually go to Commack because it's closest to me, but I recently went to the one in Riverhead and thought it was better. It was much more tidy and better organized—easier to see/find things. We ended up walking out of there with a few items they didn't even in the Commack location.

I completely agree!! It's the biggest store I've seen and has the biggest selection! I love that store!

Re: Homegoods--what are the best locations

I've been to almost all in Suffolk County and in my opinion Riverhead is by far the best.

Re: Homegoods--what are the best locations

I go to the one on Syosset bc its the closest to me. They are doing a small remodel right now (or I should say a few weeks ago). I haven't been there since. It's ok. It's combined with Marshall's but it still has a decent selection although I feel their bedding department isnt that good.

Re: Homegoods--what are the best locations

I went to one today, I guess it's Stony Brook, but it was a Marshall's / Home Goods combined store. Definitely not the selection I had hoped for. Maybe I will go to the Port Jeff Station one tomorrow.

Re: Homegoods--what are the best locations

i've only been to the RVC one, so i can't say anything about other LI locations.

but based on others i've seen in the Boston area, i would imagine they'd all have a decent selection of wall art as its a big part of what they normally carry

Re: Homegoods--what are the best locations

The Merrick one is very small. I usually go to RVC or Commack b/c I live in the middle of them. Syosset was by far the worst. Port Washington is good too.
