homemade food/food processor question
does your dc freak when you put on the food processor?
my dd does and i feel like i can only make the food when dh is home to hold her for security. so that's pretty much the weekend only and i have a million other things to do on the weekends.
when do you make your dc's food?

Hmmm..It doesnt bother Noah at all, hes usually in the kitchen with me too when I do it.
Maybe try TV or a CD loudly and her in something containable like a walker, jumper or excersaucer/playpen so the noise is dulled?

it doesn't bother lorenzo either, just sofia. she doesn't like a lot of loud sounds and will get startled easily.
today i tried her in the living room in the pack and play with lorenzo hoping that the security of being enclosed and having lorenzo there would help. it didn't. she got really scared and hysterical. i felt terrible.

How about when she falls asleep? Can you close the door to her room and then do it in the kitchen?

Lily HATES the blender noise. She cries everytime. I can only use it when my husband is around to entertain her, or when she's not here. I tried when she was sleeping, and it woke her up.
I have no solution for you.

Yes, that and the vacuum cleaner. She holds on for DEAR life and won't let go and buries her face in my neck.

awwwwww....
My only advice is to keep trying, b/c that could only get worse with time, the loud noise thing.
Maybe b/c we are kinda loud people here to begin with 
Noah falls asleep in my arms while DH has the hockey game BLASTING while he screams etc at each goal.
The sound of a loud CD they like or a TV show wouldnt cover the noise of it?
