Homemade Hello Kitty Cake
DD had her second birthday party recently, and I made her a Hello Kitty cake. Each tier was half coconut and half chocolate with nutella buttercream filling. I used different sized blossom cutters to make the flowers, which SIL helped me paint with petal dust. The design didn't turn out the way I wanted, but OMG it was delicious!

Nutella Buttercream Frosting
3 3/4 cup confectioners sugar 1 stick of softened butter 4 Tbsp whole milk 1 tsp vanilla Small jar of nutella (you won't need a lot!)
Place butter in a stand mixer and beat at medium speed until smooth (30 seconds). Add sugar and continue mixing until combined (another 30 seconds at least). Add milk and vanilla and mix at medium-high until frosting is fluffy and a spreadable consistency (a few minutes).
I added the nutella by hand. Start with an 1/8 cup of nutella and mix it into your frosting. Continue adding nutella 1 Tbsp at a time until you're happy with the taste!
I basically made regular buttercream frosting and mixed in enough nutella until it tasted good! You can't go wrong with nutella
