it's my parent's house. they bought it last year. we moved in to save money this april after selling our co-op, which technically, was our first home.

I put was not our first home, but it was our first HOUSE. Prior to this FH and i each lived in condos. I never thought there was a difference until we bought this house and now i realize the additional time, effort and expenses that go along with owning a house.

Second home for DH. First home together.
He previously bought his first home in Dec of 1998.
I wasn't actively looking but "found my diamond in the very rough" one week after coming home from our HM last summer... about 51 weeks ago.
Previously, I lived in a father-daughter with my handicaped Dad.
