homeowners ins question
Does anyone know if there is a way to find out the name of the homeowner's insurance company for a private home. There is no bank/mortgage but I need to know the insurance company to make a claim and the homeowner will not provide this information. Thanks.

Re: homeowners ins question
wouldn't you file a claim with your insurer and they will chase the other insurance company? This is similar to car insurance IMO how they work with the other company to rectify who is at fault.

Re: homeowners ins question
I didn't think homeowner's works that way. If it didn't happen on your own property, you wouldn't make a claim with them, as far as I know.
