Homes or Lowes-Which one is better for carpet?
I already checked out other places and these seem to be the best on price...WHoa carpet is $$$!
Is there one who has a better selection or better on price.
I havent gotten to check them out jsut yet.
I got a quote from Carpet Depot that almost made me fall on floor.

I know I saw a sign at HD that installation was only $99 per room.

We had our carpet done by HD when they had one of their "events". They had a variety of choices and then this event had specials like upgrading to the really good padding for a low price. I was happy with the service too.

hd is better price wise, and service wise.
however, i found a better price through an outside party.

HD is good on the price but IMO their installation prices are insane. We went with a carpet store that is literally next door to them and got a much better deal for the same carpet.

We found the best prices at G. Fried (on Old country road, I think its considered Hicksville)
