Hooray for Metformin!! Hooray for me!!
So I went back to me RE in Sept. because even after having my DD my cycles are still a wreck. I haven't had AF since probably around May/June. I went back on Metformin in Sept. and took Provera to bring on AF and now on CD24.......HIP-HIP-HOORAY!!!!!----------I got a "PEAK" reading on my CBEFM and on multiple FR OPK's. I am SO excited!!!!!  I actually ovulated on my own. AWESOME news and now I know that I will get AF again for sure in a few weeks. The Metformin is working faster for me than the last time. I couldn't be happier!

What does metformin do? I just used provera to get my period and I'm trying to do some research to figure out what the next step is.
Also, did you have a light flow with the provera? I just finished my period and it was 4 days but VERY light flow.....is that normal?

Technically Metformin is for diabetics and it's used to help control their insulin however, it's been found to help women regulate their cycles. As for Provera, usually my cycle is a med-light flow and lasts maybe 4 days. This past AF was a pretty heavy flow and lasted a week but I hadn't had AF since May'ish so that could be why.
