Do you have her on the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, apples, toast)? Maybe talk to the doctor about an over the counter probiotic.

I think I remember reading somewhere that teething can cause diahrhea.
As for the sore spots/rash on her bottom  It could be yeast, I never her of vusion cream but just looked it up and it is an antifungal ointment. Ok, when you put the ointment on MAKE SURE you are putting a thick diaper cream ON TOP of it to seal the medicine in and moisture out. ALso, finish the ointment completely, don't just stop it when the rash dissapears because the yeast can still be there and come back (happened to Alexa)
Were the sores open when the ped saw her??? If not, when the sores get open she is more susceptible to getting a bacterial infection ON TOP of the yeast. I know this sU*KS.
You can also try sprinkling acidopholus on the rash (homeopathis remedy) the good bacteria will help to get rid of the yeast.
Also, because she has diahrhea you should have her on a probiotic (check with your ped but I'm sure they will say fine). When you have diahrhea it basically wipes out all the good bacteria in your GI system which leads to more gut problems and can lead to the yeast infections......
You can get an infant/child pro-biotic in a health food store.
I'm the queen of yeast rashes. Alexa battled on for 5 weeks when she was born because of all teh antibiotics I was on when I was in labor.
Also lots of air time with no diaper can help.
