hospital bag packing--how many weeks were you when
you packed your bag?? I am thinking of doing it this weekend I am 36 weeks

 I guess I'm early once again. It's been packed since about 34 weeks... everything is there except for my coming home clothes (since I'm still wearing them!) and the pillows.

I went out tonight and got some last minute things, boy shorts for the hospital, nursing bra and tank, lip gloss. I am avoiding packing my bag but I know I have to this weekend!

frankly, I DID do it early, and we've been tripping over the darned bag for a while.... so no need to rush! But do be thorough.
the most important things to pack:
cameras
cord blood collection kit
boppy
virtually everything else DH can bring to you later on, so don't worry if you forget........

38 weeks cause I wasnt ready to give DS up yet and I figured that if I didnt pack he would stay in my tummy for a little longer... and he did! :) I LOVED being pregnant!!!! But I love being a Mommy even More!!!!

I was hospitalized unexpectedly when I was 34 weeks. Once I was discharged and sent home, I packed a bag and left it ready and waiting. I didn't want to take any more chances with being unprepared.

I think 36 weeks is a good time too - with DD I went shopping for all of my bag stuff at the beginning of my 37th week - and my water broke that night!
Needless to say, I didn't get everything that I had wanted to - I thought that I had at least a few days left, if not a few weeks, but I didn't really miss anything that I didn't have.
